Well the weather out side is FRIGHTFUL… Millions lost power not too long ago due to ice and snow all across the Midwest. Well fortunately we didn’t get the bulk of the storm up here in Maine. Most of it hit Southern parts of New England and then went out to sea. Of course I don’t have all my firewood inside yet and we actually did get the outer banks of the storm. About an inch fell here this morning.
The kids were excited and wanted to wear their boots to school. This was the first morning in a long time they were eager to get going and get outside.
So here we go. Send me some snow pictures. Did you go sledding, make a snowman, have a snowball fight?

We were visiting relatives over the weekend and learned that my 2.5 year old nephew grabbed a cookie pan and, unsupervised, rode it down the stairs inside the house.
I bet he looked about as excited as your daughter.
